If you’re on the market for a midsize SUV that can go off-road, tow a modest amount, seat seven passengers, and come with enough luxurious trappings to make you feel at home, then the 2017 Ford Explorer might be a good match. More specifically, the Platinum trim, which arrives with everything you need for a capable, versatile, and upscale family vehicle.

The 2017 Explorer, which was updated just last model year, hasn’t changed much, and that’s okay with us. This is an SUV that continues to live up to its name, and the Platinum trim adds a dash of luxury with a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 365 horsepower, 350 lb-ft of torque, and a Terrain Management System that helps you go off-road. Rounding out its skills are a premium sound system and leather upholstery.

To learn more about the bells and whistles available on the new Explorer, watch the video above or contact our Ford dealership in Cheektowaga, NY. We’d be happy to fill in the blanks.
