Until recently, the hot-hatch was predominantly offered in Europe, but that’s been changing. First, Ford finally brought the Focus RS over, and now, we have an all-new version of the Fiesta ST to contend with. While it may not have the 350 ponies of its larger RS sibling, this five-door micro-beast offers plenty in the way of performance.

While the outgoing Fiesta ST made do with a perfectly competent (and peppy) 1.6-liter engine, the new model will downsize a bit in the displacement department. Rocking a 1.5-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder, the Fiesta ST will make 197 horsepower (including boost), mediated through three selectable drive modes—Normal (for every day beasting), Sport (for sportier beasting) and Track (well, you can guess). It will arrive in the states early next year.
