Going on a road trip can be a blast, but it does take some planning. You need to be prepared so bring an emergency roadside kit just in case you get stranded by the road. You should also make sure that your fluids at full and that you have enough gas to get to your destination (or at least the budget to). Be sure to budget for unplanned stops, such as an extra stay in a hotel room or emergency car repairs. You should also make sure that you bring plenty of drinking water and snacks so that you don't have to pay outrageous gas station process along the way. If you are traveling with little ones, be sure to pack stuff for them to do. They don't have driving to occupy them like you do, and get bored easily, so for your sanity, bring lots of activities to do.
